Cecilia Alemanni is the curator of the 2022 Art Biennale "The Milk of Dreams"  which will run from April 23rd through November 27th. The title of the show is taken from a book of fables about fantastic creatures told by Surrealist artist Leonora Carrington to her children.

In the words of the curator, the show focuses on the vision of artists "celebrating a new communion with the non-human, with the animal world, and with the Earth; they are also developing a sense of kinship between species and between the organic and inorganic, animate and inanimate."
