This first-timer Venice orientation leads us first to the great theater of Venetian history: St. Mark\u2019s Square, once the political and governmnetal center of the city, exuding glory, power and concealing intrigues of its past. We\u2019ll also visit the area beyond the Rialto Bridge, formerly one of the most renowned financial centers in Europe,\u00a0and today a lively food market and and still a favorite meeting spot for many Venetians.<\/p>\n

Eine erste Orientierung f\u00fchrt uns zu den gro\u00dfen Schaupl\u00e4tzen venezianischer Geschichte: den Markusplatz und die Gegend um den Rialto Markt.
